What is a Pediatric Sleep Consultant?

A pediatric sleep consultant is an expert in healthy sleep habits and techniques for babies and toddlers.

 A sleep consultant’s main role is to guide parents in how to help their child learn to sleep independently. In doing this, they establish a sleep plan that is customized to the personality of their child and goes along with the parent philosophies. They can also help parents resolve any issues that are interfering with sleep that may affect the child’s well-being.

There are so many different resources and articles that you can find about sleep for babies and toddlers. But which ones are the best for your child? What if you have questions along the way?

As a proud Cradle Coach Academy graduate, I am an expert in healthy sleep habits, and I am educated in a variety of sleep training techniques and methods. My job is to help you sift through all the contrasting information out there, debunk any myths, confirm the facts, and answer any questions you have.

We will work together to create a plan that works for your child. There is no “one size fits all” option (I’ve learned that firsthand with 3 kids of my own!). Your child’s personality and your parenting philosophies are key factors as I create the custom sleep plan. Each situation is different, and it is essential to tailor the service to each family.
